Harper Photography is a studio and location photography business in Lebanon, TN and proudly serves portrait and wedding clientele in Wilson and surrounding counties.

Tara Harper, the photographer, graduated in 1996 from Tennessee Technological University with a B.S. in Business Administration. While working in the corporate world for 10 years, Tara decided to take additional collegiate courses after work studying photography. It was definitely a dream becoming reality when Harper Photography was born in 2005. Tara is proud to be a member of the Professional Photographers of America and the Professional Photographers of Middle TN. Tara recently served in 2010 as the President for the PPMT guild. She was able to accomplish many personal goals over the last two years including becoming a Certified Professional Photographer. This widely-recognized designation consists of a lengthy exam plus a submission of images judged by a panel. Even though Tara has studied photography in depth, she still continues her education to ensure that the business is up-to-date on the latest in technology and trends.

Harper Photography has proudly encouraged support of local businesses by being a member of the Wilson County Chamber of Commerce since 2006. Tara is married to John, a general contractor and owner of Advanced Construction, and has a stepson, Peyton, who attends the University of Tennessee at Martin. Tara also enjoys spoiling their two family pets, Tigger and Gypsy.
